At MTV News I conceived and developed our 'Cover Story' franchise which pairs intimate longform profiles with short documentaries on artists such as Future, Lil Yachty, and the 1975. I helmed packages including our extensive Prince memorial coverage and Year In Music 2016.
As Editor In Chief at The Pitchfork Review I oversaw the quarterly publication of a 160 page print magazine.
At Rookie, I was the site’s first Music Editor and was responsible for music coverage, song premieres, and the ever-popular monthly theme song.
Hit it or Quit it was started as a xeroxed endeavor in my teenage bedroom and ran until 2005, when it was something like a proper magazine.
